Is there nothing safe from those Chinese they will copy anything. They are a damned good price though, and come with there own fuel tank.

They look like absolute rip off copies of other well known brands, the grey and black cased model at around the £600 mark looks identical to a webasto, the round one with the tank looks very similar to either the very old eberspachers or the later Mikuni MY18's. I think I would rather stick to what I know, as has been said do these meet EU regulations or carry the CE mark etc , at the moment they are a bit of an unknow quantity, at least I know the Eberspachers and Mikuni heaters that I use and fit are safe and spares are readily available.

According to here : Broken Link Removed , the seller states :

CE CERTIFIED MANUFACTURED BY AN ISO9001 COMPANY WITH 20 YRS EXPERIENCE ....... Think I would be asking for complete confirmationand irrevocable proof of certification

I also noted that they only supply a mobile phone number and a hotmail email address in the contact us section on the website.

Most companys self certificate. In theory you should hold a technical file that shows how the item conforms. In pratice this is not always the case.
A lot of the regs are also open to interpitation.
So prrof would mean very little.
