Very useful book, I am awaiting my one for Spain and Portugal.

That's another one that is hopefully much improved. We didn't half waste some petrol on an early version this year. Drove miles into the brush to some rough ground by a council tip, area crawling with doubtful looking yoofs eyeing us up. Could not get out fast enough.

To all you who have received a copy of the new edition - is it bigger, better, more comprehensive and worth the outlay?

How many more Aires are there compared to last year and are the 'visits' more up to date?

I had an email fron Vic today, telling me my order had been completed. I assume that means it's gone to the GPO.

Ours tumbled through the letterbox this morning. Shame no one has a list of POIs for the Sat Navs but at least there is a map to give some idea of where places are if you are not familiar with the departments and districts.
Useful LPG/GPL section at the back and a list of Closed Aires. At least I can get rid of some of the duffers now bring my Autoroute POIs up to date. There again not all of them in the past have been included in All the Aires.

Well I certainly can't remember which dept abuts which ever other depts or their numbers, and if I came to a signpost saying eg Cognac 60k; I would have known instantly there's a distillery (!) there but not a river or whether it was in a different dept to the one I'm in now! and that's the only touble with the little maps in the previous books, is there summat interesting we really ought to see whilst we are so close to it, just over the 'border' line in the next region?

Cos we land in Calais and haven't much of a clue at that point where we might go for our holidays, or tomorrow or in 3 days time ....... :roflmto:

Ha Ha , Got mine last week , i've read it already ... The ending is rubbish .

Best thing though the Numbers / Aires are a lot easier to follow on the new book , that was the only reason i updated mine , i also got the ACIS and the Spain and Portugal Aires ,
and the Morocco Red Map ..

i needed a mortgage , good side is , plenty of Tesco points ! .

I bought Rosie the new AA 2013 map book of France as a Christmas present :ROFLMAO:

Morocco here we come .......
