Disk Shredders (1 Viewer)

I am clearing up the 'office' and I have a number of small hard drives, 1, 2 gig, I cant see anything of importance on them, I know that I can format them, but is there a 'free' disk shredder that is any good?

if you burn them job done or just get the disk out and cut them up or a good rub down with sand paper un less you wer a multy nachional drug inporter would not woory to much i just throw them on the wood burner:thumb:

Had to take no chances when I gave the same advice in Data Protection lectures at work

Mortar chisel and lump hammer does the job. Unless you want to recycle/reuse them.

There are free downloadable linux disks with disk wiping utilities. They write random data multiple times over the entire disk. No chance of recovery then:thumb:
