Well may be you could try this with sort of site . This one says french toll is 1,70 for a van.

Try a google search with " autopistas espanolas :precios"

Find a spanish town near the french border and ask for a calculation

Amicalement

Less than 30 euros for a single rear axle, will be more if a TAG axle but can't tell you the figure as mine is a single one.

Have a look at Cap Blanche in L'Albia as you pass, delightful place.

Sure this bloke is on commission !!!!!! :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
Just have to mention Spain and he's on about it... :winky:

Cant help much on the tolls as we always do main roads. From Zarragozza to Valencia its all a nice big free duel carriageway... The AP7 from Valencia to Benidorm was €12 back in August, may be a bit more now with vat increases etc.. But if your going as far south as Alicante try the inland road A7 via Alcoy....

Thanks for the info guys, we will be heading down to Spain using that route in early December.
Does anyone know of a good place to overnight near Biarritz.

Costs nothing if you avoid the toll roads  There is an aire in Biarritz, nothing special, just a carpark type, and gets very busy in the summer

Hello Brisey,

My Autoroute says there is one aire in Biarritz and another nearby in Anglet.

Anglet Aire 43.50701, -1.53403
Biarritz Aire 43.46532, -1.57162

Hope these prove useful. :thumb:

How are you?

Was there about a week ago Brisey, the aire at Soustons is great in all respects but solid at 4:30 in the afternoon with more arriving.

There is an aire back from the coast at Hossegor, 2 campers with room for another 40 maybe. Pretty site in pine woods, but located in a residential area and would need a bicycle or a long walk to get to shops or beach. Also like to mention that last week it was free.

Didn't get to this one as past it at the wrong time of day, but Vitoria in Spain isn't so far if you are ahead on your route, looks like loads of space in the town center and on google it looks just fine.

We refuelled at Carrefour just north of St Jean de Luz, to the left of the motorway if you are heading south, in the centre commercial. The fuel prices were reasonable.

Have a good time

It can cost a huggin more in fuel if you do avoid them unless you go at silly speeds on the toll roads
