Hi,
Just want to say hello and tell you a bit about us. We have been motorhomers for just 3 years after having been caravaners for 40 years, We live in Shropshire and as we are now both retired are fully enjoying this new way of life we have fallen in love with Scotland and have spent 15 months over the last 3 summers touring this beautiful part of our country.

Regards to you all

What areas are you looking to tour in, we both fish so most of the places I can suggest are on the coast. Also depends on what you like doing, I find the West Coast the most beautiful with its ruggedness, the only downfall is the dreaded midges ( usually only in the West), particularly if you are fair skinned, They usually flit around our motorhome door waiting for me to step out, oddly they rarely touch Vic. Thereare some really good midge nets, which many of the locals wear, if you dont mind looking like a bee keeper.

Hi there Funsters..

I only joined yesterday, but love the site.
Going all over Scotland, and looking at staying on some 12 sites over a 5-6 week period.
Thanks for your post, and hope to see you sometime..
