easy cycling (1 Viewer)

We'd like a short break before the weather changes for the worse (if that's possible up here in Staffs). Any ideas for campsites close to easy flat cycling? - well paved canal towpaths are a favourite but anywhere flat considered. Preferably within 100 miles or so of our neck of the woods.

The CC campsite near Hythe, Kent has access to the Romney Marshes where there are miles and miles of flat cycling to be had.

Look up Tissington Trail and Carsington Water.

Carsington Water has a really nice 8 mile track round it.

Monsal Trail , from Bakewell to Buxton .

Woodhall spa Lincolnshire use the Jubilee Park site ( around £10 inc EHU and 2 swims in the pool if it is still open ) easy access to the River Witham cycle route to Lincoln and to Horncastle on the Old Railway lines ,

Visit the Petwood Hotel , war time home of the Dambusters ,lovely grounds etc

Lincolnshire Aviation Center at East Kirkby , Just Jane Lancaster often does Engine run ups and Taxying around the site ,

Carsington water , Caravan and camping site near Knockerdown £5 a night with great views and you don't need to be a member ,go up the road to the Pudding Room for great cakes or camp there £10 with showers etc .
