We have stopped at the Brugge aire quite a few times. It is situated on the ring road just past the train station. Entrance is via a barrier system, the charge was €15 per 24 hours. You do get an electric hook up included in the price, use of water and waste facilities are charged for seperately. Please be aware that the charge is for 24 hours, exit a few minutes late and you will be charged for another 24 hours. Brugge is a beautiful city and is well worth a visit.

Hi Jaygee

As Brisey says the price is 15 Euros for 24 hours. However you need to leave by 11am or its another 15 Euros. It does say this on the board. The 24hours starts from 11am then :ROFLMAO:

We have stayed here a couple of times and even with the price think it is well worth it due to its location and easy access to city centre.

As popeye says its just past the the rail station or just before it if coming the other way :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Aug 09 to date 9,000 miles!
And if I may venture to say so, IMHO the price of the aire quite nicely reflects the general prices of almost everything in Bruges ......

Still - everyone knows that if you need to ask the price it means you can't afford it!

:ROFLMAO:

It is a fab place though.

First year accomplished
We used Klein Strand at Jabbeke for our last night. It is a Camping Card site therefore only 16 euros. (Less than the aire) You can get a bus if you want to go in to Brugge, and it is fairly close to the motorway for about 45min run to Dunkirk.

Still with Bruges, just wondered if anyone had tried Camping Memling? .

We have stopped there once or twice, quite a few years ago now though. The site was quite dated back then and in need of modernisation. It catered for motorhomes, caravans and tents, supplied electric hook ups and had a shower block. The site is situated quite a way from the city centre, it is a 20 minute walk or a bus ride into the city centre. Price wise I believe that the cost is very similar to that of the aire in the summer months, €22 per night. The price of the aire is reduced in the autmn to €15 per 24 hours.

Brisey.

Brugge aires

We were there for the night last Thursday, got there at 1.30 pm, plenty of space then, there were a few more vans arriving afterwards, but there were still spaces available, walked into the centre in about 10 minutes that afternoon and again the next morning, left again at about mid- day, charged 22.50 Euro's. it is now 15.50 Euro.s after Oct 1st.

Spending day here tomorrow then heading to Calais wednesday for the ferry.
End of our 2 month trip but out to our house in Spain Sunday :roflmto:
