Following on from the thread about Rotary Airers, what I would dearly love to find is a New Type (Lightweight) of the old fashioned wringers

If only there were a modern version, when you are traveling months at a time you don't always want to use laundrettes and you usually have the time to do the washing, but what a difference one of these would make.

We looked all over for a table top model last year and couldn't find one. We are certain we had one when we first married but goodness knows what happened to it.

We find wrapping a garment in a towel and twisting it between us most effective without mechanical assistance.

i use one like this . the stand carries a washing up bowl so you can save the water.
mines in white and the stand is a bit different . use it then put through the plastic twintub spinner saves leccy.
been using mine for about 10 yrs now great bit of kit .

You should get one off those magic boxes like we have hear, it stays on the landing and i put my dirty clothes in and in a couple off days the clothes appear in my wardrobe all clean and ironed :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Find a nice dry bit of road...

Lay your wet washing in a neat line in front of the "Nearside" front wheel...

Drive forward but for ready to iron reverse over again...
