My wife's old XP computer is full of files/desk shortcuts + other progs etc....

SHE DEMANDS that I put this question to the 'Know it all' Funsters out there ?!?!

OBVIOUSLY LIZ DOES NOT TRUST ME TO "TRANSFER" EVERY THING CORRECTLY :Eeek:

Use Windows Easy Transfer which you can find in System Tools under Accessories in the START menu

...and if you want to really impress her transfer the hard disk into your new machine as an additional drive then ALL files saved on the old drive will still be directly accessible. :thumb:
