Hi Have been camping in panel vans ( in 80's ) campervans (12 yrs) & in my Mk2 Transit C.I motorhome for 6 years. Shes 32 & weve just got back from 2 weeks touring Normandy where we got stared at constantly on the Aires we stayed at. we were always the oldest.As soon as we got back to good old blighty every one smiled at us again :thumb: .
Found this site whilst looking for camping aire info for my daughter whos just crossed border into Holland.Looks like a gret idea.
Think we need a newer model to continue exploring France next year!!!

hi there, only just joined myself, i have just got back from two weeks in france down in a place called st jean de month. i all so get funny looks, my motorhome is not as old as yours, mine is only 22 years old, but still going strong, ihope i can keep it going as long as yours.good luck with finding a newer one.:thumb:

Are you sure of the reason "they" were staring at you for? And even if it was the one reason ... you're not going to change anything for them are you? I'm sure you're proud of your van ! So next time give them back a big big smile ... that will give them some good reason to stare at you:thumb:
