I have a deposit in cash in my hand.. sold with the goodies going back on for £24,200

The RV should be going to it's new home Sunday. The man that wanted to see it in the dark has purchased it.

On to the next chapter and the toy hauler.

You will be pleased you will not be hearing 23'3" again:RollEyes::RollEyes::RollEyes:

feels good, but sad

We have many hours to now get everything back on tot he RV for it's departure at the weekend.

Second vehicle I have sold in the dark.... but I will be sad to see it go, I loved my RV.. it always hurt when you pass one on...

Well a chapter closed... Ended up with a tad less than I had hoped £25k was what I was aiming at.. but not bad given everything.

I could not removed the major fix items... which was the bulk of the cost say £9k so yes he did do well getting the other £5k for £1,700 .. but it is going a a fully running turn key...

We now have to reload it all... no mean task...

The new one will have slightly better equipment so that is not going to cost as much.

Well done Bob. We are so pleased things have worked out. Onwards to your new baby. :) Now you can start planning all the new bells and whistles etc for it. That is exciting in itself. Enjoy.

We have a couple of trips already booked for 2013.. South Africa, USA (road trip) and Sue has a cruise with a friend... so the RV issue is going to happen in due course... I have to go to Germany to see one in a couple weeks.. but we are not rushing as this I suspect will be our last one.

As you say Buttons no rush.

We have been to Cape Town a few times.. we both love it... coming up to Summer over there now... Plus we have a road trip in March to Nevada, Arizona and California... touch of the route 66 etc.,

But no rush... we had a lot of other this already planned for 2013 so it was not going to be all RV based and as I have said we were not doing any shows in to 2013 at all.

Very very well done Bob. You took all the banter well and I for one will miss it.Nobody but MHF could make fun out of 23 feet 9 inches or whatever it was.

Looking forward to hearing about its replacement.

OK I have to confess I had it as 23'9" to start with then put it to 23'3"... forgot the spare wheel carrier and the book says that makes it 23'7"

but I have got used to having the eggs and rotten tomatoes thrown at me....

As another post said.. 2 RV's sold in a week... see there are those that want them Shiffty:winky:

End of one chapter another to start..

I too am not rushing into another camper, when I am ready it will happen. Until then a change is as good as a rest. Like yourselves we have a number of things in the pipeline first is New York in 7 days time:winky: We have also been invited to stay with relatives in Melbourn and L A so we shall see how it pans out.

Cape town is a lovely part of SA, sailing around the western cape with table top in the background is a sight to behold.
Enjoy your extra space in the garden for a while.:thumb:
