Oooops ...HELP (1 Viewer)

Ok so further to my thread about Winterising the MH I decided to get underneath her and see whats what....
I found various pipes and a tap and a screw cap to the fresh water carrier, now taking heed of the advice given I unscrewed it and let any water drain out....so far so good....

As it was a lovely day I decided to give Lizzie (OH has given her a name, he is getting very fond) a wash, started her up and reversed to the tap, CRUNCHHH straight over the screw cap which I had stupidly in my enthusiastic haste not replaced....it is crushed, flattened kerput oh:

Now to say OH is getting fond is perhaps an understatement, I am not keen to tell him that whilst messing with her undercarriage I have removed one of her vital bits....no no.. he does not need to know ...YET..
And not at all if I can get a replacement pronto....
So any ideas....Lizzie is a Swift Royale (hence the Lizzie )
Where would I source one from???

You should find what you want, most water fittings are generic not specific

Try caktanks.co.uk , they have a catalogue on line for most mh related plumbing bits.

Well 24hrs of googling/surfing and ebaying has produced nothing
I am going to take a secret trip to a MH/caravan seller to see if they can help...if not

Thanks but sadly no....spoke with Ann at caktanks she was very helpful but I dont even know the make of the tank and as it is old '94, I think it is unlikely to be in any catalogue :Sad:

Now that would be a good idea, but I have no idea how to post a pic.....I could send one to a kind person via mobile phone though if they knew how to put it on....

Also for info....it is the screw tap from the Grey waste container ....not the fresh water...(still learning..) and I have measured it ....3 3/4 inches across..if that makes any difference.
