Lost a really good post... where do they all go?

Testing with these photos on very weak Edge signal first... then... who knows?

We should really be in a camp site parked in rows with loads of other campers but, because we are inconsiderate, freeloading "tossers" we are here instead... :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

98 kms from Lisbon airport.

I had parked up last night five minutes from the arrivals hall. Spent twenty minutes driving around and around outside arrivals stopping as long as possible until moved on by the smiley policemen... then Frankie came out and we were on our way!

Have made friends once more with the local stray dog who is joined this time by an equally hungry (and appreciative) cat.

More to follow.

JJ

I ask a simple question...

Is this food fit for a Prince?

Peeled courgette... What is that?

The simple answer JJ is to embrace it or you may end up doing all the cooking this holiday, perhaps Frankie is putting your inside on a holiday as well :ROFLMAO:

Ok, ok...

I confess.

The salad wasn't for me... Frankie made if for herself...

I had had a breakfast and was having an evening meal later so didn't need lunch. :winky:

Today we planned to do nothing... Frankie has been very busy, as have I, and so we thought we would take a couple of days of total rest to start "chilling".

This morning a good deal of clothes rearranging and cupboard filling took place at the rear of the vehicle whilst, at the other end, an old thirsty florescent light was replaced by a modern LED one.

We fed more Intermarche own brand (Top Budget) hot dog sausage to our friendly stray dog... (he loves us!) :thumb:

Then we drove 175 metres up the road to park near Rui's to fill with water and to get a better internet signal. So a quick lunch at the restaurant (Frankie had octopus salad, I had a toasted cheese and ham sandwich)... then internet stuff, water filling, showering, more water filling and now will go back down to our spot and today I will go for a swim... yesterday I wimped out...

JJ

PS. Third picture is the view from my bed at 6.00am.

Brilliant, relaxing day so far... Prepared Frankie's brekky (cereal flakes, melon and coffee)... Fitted LED bulb to my bedside light (had to swop over the wires)... Took rubbish to bin... Had a shower (etc)... Cooked egg, bacon and sausages for my brekky... Done this post and another one... And it is not even 11.30 yet...

A swim before lunch at Rui's then we are driving on... To the beach at St Andre with its lagoon.

Pictures will follow...

hi. dare say he is around somewhere .i liked him . lovely dog with him as well. first met him at punta de piadade about 7-8 years ago. down near lagos .
not quite an airstream but definately a travel trailer.
helped him fix a puncture while we were there last time . be nice to meet him again . harmless enough.

I posted a couple of photos a couple of years ago... We had some beers together in his "motorhome." At that time he had a large satellite dish on the front!

Someone thought he was heading for Russia...
