Yes it's Ailsa Craig as seen from Girvan. Cannot be Bass Rock Marie that's in the North sea - the sun sets in the West not the east.

Brilliant! We knew it was Paddy's Mile Stone.......Ailsa Craig:thumb:

We took a boat trip out there from Girvan years ago, it was slightly rough and Bill was a bit "under the weather" shall we say......:Blush:

From memory that's where the granite comes from that is made into curling stones.

You can't beat the Clyde Coast for beautiful scenery, we would like to move back there in years to come..........just gorgeous!:thumb:

Another lovely evening here in D & G as well, got the mh washed as well today.
