Can any funster recommend a site close to Valencia? Off in a month to Bonterra Park and decided to do a few days prior to pitching at Benicassim to see Valencia. Don't fancy moving the Adria Coral once pitched so transport or electric bike travel in would be great . . . : thanks:

Valencia is a fabulous city with its mixture of ancient and modern.

Go in on the bus and buy a 48 hour open top bus ticket. That way you get to see the whole city and then you can plan where you want to stop off and have a closer look.

You need at least 2 days there, to see and enjoy some the best bits.

its no worth seeing give it a miss.

Nonsense !!

Fabulous city, enjoy your visit. The Tour buses do not visit the "Casco Antiquo" (old town), save your money and walk it, if able. Information offices everywhere and staffed by English speakers. If you want free parking try Malva Rosa Beach by the bus terminus good bus and tram connection to city 10 minutes away.

Good advice if all you want to see is the old town, but you will never get to see a fraction of what Valencia has to offer if you try to do it on foot.

Then use the extensive tramway and bus network @€1.25 per trip or buy multiple trips on same or Valencia Ticket...... Tour bus is an expensive "hop on hop off option" for a couple/family. We spent 5 days in Valencia last month and travelled extensively by public transport throughout the City and Province until late at night, not an option with tour buses.
