Here in Eastbourne we are always late with anything new, however fibreoptic is on its way so I should have high speed connection from Aug 1st :Smile::Smile:

here in Suffolk it we should have it by 2020 .. that's not a typo .. 2020 :Sad:

Does the arrival of all this fibre optic stuff mean they will be digging all the pavements up again ?

Normally it's pulled though existing GPO ducts .. then just a short trench from the pavement into each house or block of flats..
If your existing phone line is on poles... then they will dig up your street and it will look like a WW1 battle field.. :roflmto:

Good luck on that one :winky::Sad:They came and dug up all our village last yr, put FO cabling in and no one will take it over so no super fast BB yet :Eeek:above 18 mths and waiting :Sad:
