Can't get my blown air heating working on van.got it working on gas but electric a mystery,any ideas ps got no instructions.

My blown air heating system only designed to operate on gas - yours could be the same :Smile:

I think it is only the 6e models or ones with the "e" after the number.. that works on electric, most of them are gas only......your's might have the e model fitted

Will let you know in about 14 days time, dependant upon yours being similar fittings to ours. We don't usually need heating in summer (lol) but I think we will for our next outing.

From memory if electric only we have to leave the heater on for about 15 minutes before switching fan on, and then only on low fan speeds.

It works much better on gas if you really need to pump hot air around.

My truma electric is off at present although gas works well as usual. Too busy to investigate further but I will in due course. ::bigsmile:

Sorry not very clear on that one.Got the gas bit of the heater working,but won't work on electric for heat or fan.On hook up green light on trauma vent dial thing by door .

There is two dials by the door was told the one on the le is for the water the one on the right is for the heater. The one on the right only works when the truma heat switch under bottom drawer is on.

Yes left for water right for heating. The electric heating works in conjunction with the heater fan controls on the fire.
I found the electric heater pretty useless yet on Gas its ace.

On our apache from memory there was a switch in the wardrobe that needed to be on.
