just tried to access google and got

what have i done :Doh::Doh: - lol - anyone know why and what I can do to sort ????

When you say access it do you mean install it ?

ok so no idea what brouser - i just use the laptop - google always there just clicked on it in favourites and away i went - weird:Eeek: - everything else normal - x

It's noit a virus....

I would say that Internet Explorer has lost its home page which merely needs re-setting...

nginx is a proxy server site, used by people trying to hide where they really are. The way that some people use expat sheild to access bbc iplayer when abroad

have you installed any new software recently?

nginx (eNGINe X) is actually a full blown webserver like apache.. It can also act as a forward proxy.

It looks like you are being pointed at a webserver that doesn't have any content. Or your proxy settings have been surreptitiously changed to allow the nasty people to send you anywhere they want.

Check the proxy settings in your browser..

Hi everyone

Many many thanks for all your advice:thumb::thumb: - did what it said to do and did not have the associated files to get rid of so not there - weird:Eeek: - deleted google out of my favourites - went to ask.com to find google - put it back in favourites and now all working ok.:thumb:

The wonders of IT - does my head in sometimes:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Hey ho - appreciate all the advice - always someone to guide you on motorhome fun:thumb:
