I found this today and think it will be handy looking for diesel when we are in Scotland, just type in your post code and it will give you the nearest garages in whatever area you are in and the fuel price.

Depends what part of Scotland you are in, in some spots you are glad of any garage, anywhere, I know been there have played hunt the garage.

don't forget there will be many more closer, and possibly cheaper, garages.

Very true the further North the poorer the mobile internet, handy little tool though.

Handy website this, I've just had a look to see if our nearest petrol station at Twynholm was on it and it is:thumb:
However, from memory there isn't a sign on the A75 to tell anyone that it's there, so anyone driving along the A75 past Twynholm would miss itoh:
The petrol station in Gatehouse of Fleet closed a couple of years ago, but I don't think the council have removed the "local services" sign at the Gatehouse turn offoh: All in all, you always need to make sure you've got enough petrol/diesel before venturing too far within D & G. Top up at Tesco or Morrisons in Dumfries before heading west on the A75 to be safe.

Now my local garage has diesel at 129.9.................
