I've booked for the Welsh National Eisteddfod in August. Really looking forward to seeing Wales again. And I think anywhere is sunnier than the Dordogne at the moment--seems to have rained non-stop for weeks.

I'm in Chirk till the end of the week (only just over the border - I need to break myself in gently ).

Then I'm off to a CL next to a canal and pub near Whitchurch for a week, but plan on heading back to Llangollen after that. There's a C&CC THS there for the Bank Holiday weekend that I thought I'd join in with.

Nothing wrong with Wales - lovely country with some beautiful scenery and other attractions....... It is just a bit wetter than the rest of the country, really. Many fewer midges than Scotland!
