My only experience of buying things from Europe or the States, is that if you are unlucky it will get checked at customs & you you will get a bill for import duty / Vat ??

I've had 7 panels from them in total 3 of which were broken in transit. I don't buy from them anymore due to wasted time collecting from parcel force and then having to repackage and arrange collection for return. Yes packaging is basic off the pallet.

Parcel force don't insure glass and I can't understand why they want broken panels returned anyway

There is no import duty on purchases from the European union. That's the point of the EEC
You pay VAT at the time of purchase from anywhere in mainland Europe excluding Luxembourg I think where you might cop for duty but a lower tax rate

As I said on the 16th April post.. he has a bad feedback on damaged items... Not much fun having to return them back to Germany..

I hope we live and learn... may be cheaper.. but at what cost I have to ask...

As stated no VAT on items purchased in Europe as the local VAT is added to the goods so you should to have to pay any more VAT... yes from the USA and China.. but not member states in the EEC...

I must add that the panels are excellent and I'm more unlucky than most of their customers.
Collection was arranged and paid for by them and full refunds issued, It's just the wasted time
and petrol I have truck with. I don't think I personally left negative feedback.

Two of the good one's are fitted here although I paid a higher price last year and customer is happy having just done Skye etc with little Sun and ample power

These seem very cheap and include postage, no idea on quality or the seller but possibly bankrupt stock or similar? With paypal protection could be worth a try.

From the sellers feedback it did look with outside odds that they were possibly buying from , POLICE, GOVERNMENT, BAILIFF AUCTIONS ADDRESS + WEBSITES , however I failed to see this feedback - Make Money From Other Peoples eBay Auctions! $1000+ day

did get a refund from paypal within a couple of days though, once i raised a dispute.

if you look at that sellers feedback he/she has no ativity since November last year, then it was mainly mobile phone stuff.
