The Luis de Matos Chaos Show is on in Portimao Theatre on Saturday and Vila Real on Sunday (May 5 and 6)

Luis with a section of the Team performs at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London tonight...

So I decided to set off for the Algarve early and make a mini-trip of it...

1st stop Pego do Altar near Alcacer do Sal on Wednesday...

2nd stop Silves last night Thursday......

3rd stop Portimao tonight Friday...

Working in the van in between the travel... preparing a couple of the tricks and getting the programmes sorted...

The Portimao Marina camping/parking place is now charging €2.50 per night...

They have also fitted an automatic, coin operated (€2) dispensing thingy on the water tap... this delivers 100 litres...

Last year it was €1.50 to fill your tank (after they had gone to the trouble and expense of piping in mains water) but apparently, when they got their water bill, the money they had collected did not cover the cost of the water taken... the gentleman on the gate used some fairly basic Portuguese and pointed to a couple of RVs parked in the distance...

I guess 100 litres hardly fills one of their ice trays in those obese fridge freezers...
