Chinese imported motorhomes on the horizon ?

With only 5,000 RV owners, China has a long way to go before it catches up with the US, the spiritual home of the RV, where there are nearly 9m caravanners. But Mr Wang forecasts that RVs will catch on like BMWs in China in the years to come, as a symbol of an all new Chinese way of life that embraces nature, mobility, and the right to stop and go at will – a Route 66 kind of lifestyle that could not be more different from riding a Chinese bicycle.

been monitoring the truck and bus side of the chinese motor industry for several years . i have said before soon you wont be able to buy almost any vehicle that isnt made in china.
many of you may already be driving chinese made vehicles and not know it. europe is definately in for awake up call. think of a manufacturer and i can possibly show you a chinese sister company . try googling chinas truck and bus . or even china cars .

hi terry they are building them in china already . dont meed to copy .
doesnt take much to design a m,home .
they will be better and cheaper and work far nicer you wait and see.

Hi Alan I was searching China sites about 4 / 5 yrs ago and stumbled on a couple of factory's making M/Hs and decent looking vans :thumb:Never seen any imported to GB though :winky:

have seen some based on the huejin .also saw one once near the welsh border it was on what i at first thought was a nissan. was told it was a chinese mazda .it was 4x4 . i took a number .ranmg back a few weeks later and it had gone. shame it was a nice strong coachbuilt.
but dont think it will be long . lots of cars vans trucks being sneaked in as eu built ,but really only built in eu made in china.
