Warning if travelling to France with Fun sticker (1 Viewer)

Hi all we are currently in France at the moment and at first we found the locals quite strange compared to the usual friendly French faces. Then after managing to get one to come out of their house all became clear, he pointed to the fun sticker and while shaking in fear said

el munchie est de retour

So he advised us to remove the sticker and all is well again

Just wondering.......should it not be Le Munchie instead of el munchie?
El munchie sounds more Spanish

It's a long time since O' Level French but I think it's got to be Le Munchie

Under rules of golf 24-2 - Immovable Objects (Munchie) he is allowed relief and should proceed without penalty
