Wifey nicked my mini compressor that i bought a few years ago for her car. I need one for the landy and the MH, so I looked for an identical one. Maplins had one that was identical. These are not the plastic pile of poo with any beggars name on, they are metal constuction, have a screw on inflator hose so you dont have to hold it onto the tyres, and they will inflate a landrover tyre in about 4 mins, so will do a mh one similar,......they are 19.99 in store or online

I got one last year, I have to use extension lead to use on the camper. Thought it wasn't up to the job as it would slow and die :whatthe: I then realised the problem was with the extension not being up to the job:Doh: Heavy duty Extension (12 Amp max) and it now works fine.

Done an eBay and amazon search for heavy duty 12 volt extension cable. I do not know exactly what I am looking for:Doh:

Can someone point me in the right direction for cable, with link if possible

This pump is fine as long as it keeps working. If it dies as mine did and you take it to bits you can see why its cheap. The internal wiring to the motor and the very inferior switch spoil what could be a bargain pump.
I decided not to risk another one and bought a Ring one.

I bought one of these last year and was really impressed with it.

Tried to use it just before the trip to peterborough and it was dead. I don't think it likes condensation.

I have however ordered a fresh one and keep this in a poly bag...

Similar problem with a very cheap circular saw........stored loose on my garage shelf for a couple of years...when i wanted to use it the carbon brushes had dissolved to nothing leaving just the springs and a bit of copper braid.
