I wish you even more good wishes and an even bigger welcome to Fun ..:thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb:

Pulling the age card on you... when I started going to watch them, Johnny Crossan was captain... I watched them get promoted... I was there on that glorious day at Newcastle... but I now fear I might have to wait until next year for the repeat...

Still, by now I am used to disappointment...

I am not really a football fan but have a passive support for your team as my son is a big fan but also a passing interest in Sunderland as my daughter now teaches there and has become a big Sunderland fan, so I have a foot in both camps today. As I write this City are down 2-1 at half time.

Googling Johny Crossan ( its raining here in Portugal) came up with some interesting stuff, for me, though you will undoubtedly have the knowledge already. Anyway thought you might both be interested in this link from the MEN, an article by Paul Hince who I knew was blue but never realised that he played for them.:thumb:

Hi and welcome to The Fun:thumb:................

...........hope the test drive goes well and so long as you like the van don't worry about fitting it on the drive 'cos I am sure we can get a bunch of Funsters to pop round and remove your house to make space for it.:Eeek::Doh:
