Thetford cooker - no ignition spark (1 Viewer)

Hi, tried to light the gas hob this morning but ignition button just presses in with no click and no spark to ignite the gas. Gas coming through ok as lights with match. Is there a simple fix and step by step instructions for a beginner would be good

Is the 12v turned on at your power panel?

In my van the spark for the cooker is powered by a pp9 battery hidden in the cupboard next to the cooker. Perhaps yours is the same and the battery has either become dislodged or is flat.
