:thumb:marjal was a fantastic meet,it was great meeting like minded people at one of spain's finest camping grounds,ok it was a little far out? but if you had a car it was a great location to see the real spain, food was cheap, and eating out was good value, the bungalow we stayed in was great,as was the whole of marjal itself,on a personal note i did not do much drinking as i was driveing alot:ROFLMAO:
but still had a great time, and felt sorry for those that could not get thier arses over to this meet as it was that good:thumb:,after reading some post's on here i thought the pitches might be a bit tight, but not at all,as there were parts of jims pitch that we never got to explore, they were that big:thumb:
marjal is deffo on the list to do again:Cool:
and fran and myself would like to thank jim, sian and katie for arrangeing this meet, cheers guys:thumb:

What a great rally - it kept you lot away from us for a while:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I stayed at home and enjoyed the peace. You'll all get your revenge over Easter I guess!:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Well it does sound like you all had a great time.
Im not jealous that we missed it as I know being so much younger, our day will come

In the mean time Ill stick to having to dress like a 1940's officer and drink lots at Eden camp. Now that was a great meet, but it makes you realise, just how much good weather plays a part in these things.

Hit nail on the head there. But I've seen just as good a gathering in Wrenbury, we can manage it in the UK. Fingers crossed.

And for Stratford immediately afterwards.

Yes Sue it was, until 1943 when it started to house German POWs.

It is a fantastic place, great value and very eye opening.

I went as a British Officer, although there was a member from the Nazi party as the photos will show..

British Officer ! - What rank were you ?
Never noticed any insignia on your uniform Paul. :Eeek:
Perhaps you were a only a Private i.e. no insignia or perhaps a Lance Jack -one stripe :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
