I fitted them last year and worked fine, another benefit is if you are on a pitch with a TV point on a bollard you can use the same coax.:thumb:

Oooo, so how do these work, do the push on over and grab the thread or does it need to be a male and female quick connect?

there are male and female ones ,one with a nut and one with a thread,
these convert from f connectors to normal tv fly lead type plugs

female one [ame]http://www.amazon.co.uk/Plug-Socket-Female-Adaptor-electrosmart/dp/B003894IVM[/ame]

male one [ame]http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B003OSUU14/ref=pd_lpo_k2_dp_sr_3?pf_rd_p=103612307&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B003894IVM&pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_r=1CRC985ZNWAS521XMW34[/ame]

many many years! since I was a kid
these are a great piece of kit, been using them for years. They screw onto a standard F plug and convert it to a push fit.

One bit of advice though, if using outside on the LNB tape the joint up with self amalamating tape to prevent water getting into the wire when raining, as the standard weather boots dont fit

these screw to your f connectors

those above are converters to change from F plug to RF aerial plugs, not F plug push on type. The centre pin is too big

dunno, Ive just checked my c card payment online and its £7.70,

thats for for 6 delivered, maybe because I bought 6 it made the unit price cheaper, I asked for the total price and its £7.70. if the postage is £3.50 min that makes them 70p each inc vat?

lets wait and see whats on the invoice.

Cheers Simon....just ordered a pack of 4.....99p :thumb:

been meaning to buy some for a while as I use a tripod dish and sat finder, using two of the four Quad LNB connections (two receivers), its a pain unscrewing the cable, screwing onto the sat finder, unscrewing and screwing back onto the LNB.

Cool, hope they are OK but I don't see why not and for a couple of quid:thumb:

I had no idea you could get these and whilst not the end of the world we occationally use one of those sat in a box via Winne's external sat point, aukwardly locating in the lecy hook up box, and one of these will make life soooo much easier.:thumb:

Thanks CS05OUT (OP) for starting this thread:thumb:
