I prefer the warm myself, the bright one can be a little to white for me but hey just buy both and change whenever you feel like:thumb:

Our fourth glorious year!
Hi John M, I'm near Dundee too so let me know what you get and where best to get them if you could be so kind.
Thanks:thumb:

If you talk to the experts who retail LED's, they recommend warm white in the saloon area and bedroom, and white in kitchen and bathroom.:thumb:

We prefer cool white but it's all personal choice. Stands at shows are very useful for comparing alternatives.

I bought some bulbs from Aten Lighting because I wanted guaranteed fast delivery. Ordered some more from two HK suppliers over eBay on 10 February.
One lot arrived 21 February and are OK but lower quality than Aten.
2nd lot still haven't arrived and I have requested a refund.
Bought a couple on eBay from a UK supplier as the 2nd lot hadn't arrrived. They came quickly and are OK but again lower quality than Aten.

Pays yer money and takes yer choice/chance.

I recommend Aten, but certainly not as cheap as some. Some of ours are 5 years old and I have never had one 'go' on me.

We use some of each with bright white in the washroom and over the hob.

we change all ours

We purchased from Aten at the shows over two seasons, went for the bright light.. we needed 15.. that was a few pennies... but they seem to be OK to me.. Tried a soft one and it was to dim for my liking.. but it is a case of what you prefer... saves on the battery power no end.

We bought all bright white and dont regret it. Went for quality panasonic sourced units with polarity auto adjusting and voltage regulation rather than the 99p hot ones.
BTW bulbs go in the garden, lamps would be close and light emitting diodes would be spot on :roflmto:
