Do you photograph odd ball motorhomes in your travels.. I have .. but the files are to big to load. I used to love to look at the photos in MMM when they did them.

Seeing a response to a post on here to day with a lorry with a caravan on the back bought back some of the memories of those I have seen and photographed ...

??????????????????

Not only do I photograph them....I have a thing about collecting them:Doh:

Heres one of the latest I have photographed but would love to own. More like an armoured car on the outside but very swish on the interior.

I have often fancied an H van covered in to a motorhome...

Whist living in France years ago I owned a H van and although ultra reliable I would not want to travel far in one.

We saw this at the Needles on the IOW Summer before last . Never have been into wolves and Indians on motorhomes personally , but this really took the biscuit , fish . eagles , a moose and scenery !
Lovely weather we had there for the 2weeks too.

We have a graphic on the rear of the RV of a couple of Indians on horses... one of our genny locker low that shows the grand canyon with the bites in the background and the words.. ON The Road Again running across the view.. other than that I have a couple of ragged US flags on the drivers and passenger doors.

Can over do it if you are not careful.

Took these in a campground in Grand Canyon parked right next to us the small windows at the back are the sleeping pods.
Funnily enough saw an almost identical setup on a campgroung in Iran last year except the sleeping pods were on a trailer towed behind the coach, did'nt photograph that one though:Doh:

Have seen a few of those pottering around John. I am sure they are old Dutch fire engines. They look great in the flesh.

This was on the Blackmore C&CC site last year...a similar vehicle was waiting in the visitors parking area when it left the next day and plenty of photos were being taken (apologies about the quality - mobile phone ).
