i went to rspb lakenheath fen on sunday and got some photos of some birds i had only just had a glimps of before ::bigsmile:

Great photos :thumb: Love the one of the kingfisher the couple of times I've seen one in the wild it was just a flash of colour as it flew past .

it was just walking down the river bank ::bigsmile:

i got a photo of it swiming across the river but i was to far away to be any good

i must admit i took a lot of it about 200 photos :Smile:

We love Lakenheath especially in the Spring and stay on this site

A short walk into the "back end" of RSPB Lakenheath not often visited by many but some excellent birding to be had, along with Hobby's and Marsh Harriers out the MH window's.

i am quite lucky only live about 30 min away have you been to fen drayton lakes got some good photos of starling roost there
