Ever tried to copy paste a part of a web page and you can't ? Snopes is just one example.

This extension for Chrome allows copy action on all websites, including sites, that are blocking text selection and copying.

Never had a problem copying and pasting in firefox???

I use both FF and Chrome .. the problem is not the browser ..

as I understand it is a java script that blocks copying form some websites ..

try this page from Snopes .. can you copy paste ?

a workaround in FF is to disable java script

or

Go to the web page you wish to grab the content from.
Copy this code and paste it on your browser address bar: javascript:void(document.onselectstart=null)
Press Enter.
Copy and Paste whatever text you wish!

ahhhhha... I have that extension but had it disabled.. no idea why.. thought it was enabled..:Doh: and yes, that also works :thumb:
