I did have it three years ago and if you are an online gamer your ping will, be severley reduced making for v v fast dowloading. Online movie streams faultless etc.
You wont ever see the little blue bar indicating downloading is going on as it will be virtualy instant.

Im sure its all improved by now but back then it used to have disconnect issues and the service would drop for tech reasons.

I wish virgin would get here id sign up tommoz

we had Virgin cable when we were in Colchester .. and yes, it was great .. but it (fibre optic cable) will never come to where we are now.. so this should be a lot better.. quite excited at the prospect ...

Sounds very interesting Jim :thumb:My mate had a similar thing but through a satellite dish :Smile: cost him a fortune.:Eeek:Any thing that gives options is OK in my book.Last year they spent a fortune laying Cable throughout our village but as yet no one has taken it over so no cable YET:Doh::Eeek:

I live 1 mile away from a major airport....ya would think the fibre optics were near enuff for me to join them myself...I could take the fibre optics outta an ole 60s lamp the ones wid da light shootin up all the strands and glue it onto the grid.....
I am assured however that I will be getting fibre optics by the year 3500..still al least thats not a no.

Id be excited too whereas Im just jealous....hummph
