We've been up to Birtley this morning to have another look at the Burstner T625 Harmony which we saw last week.

It ticks a heck of a lot of the items on our list and we managed to negotiate an acceptable price so we've put a deposit down.

Even remembered to make sure it will get a cam belt change as part of the pre-delivery service

A bit bigger than the old autoquest then, and looks like plenty of storage. I hope it treats you well and you enjoy every mile

Glad to hear you have found another van, hope it does all you want.

Think you will find the fixed bed a real godsend I know we did, great to be able to just fall into bed, at any time of day.

Best of luck bet you can't wait to collect now.

Excellent.

You'll be parking with the top table now

Marjal for a test run - you know it makes sense.

You slayed the insurers, you found The Right Van, how hard can a passport be.

Burstners sulk if they don't get a regular taste of the mainland.

Oh yes, plenty of room on the drive  Irony was that the other one was only moved off the drive to avoid the risk of damage whilst the roofers were working

Looks fine, when I bought my Geist I went to see one with Full Leather, looked great in the photos and crap in real life, yet the one I ended up buying had really poor photo's but had hardly been used.

Same upholstery as yours or very similar. Is it really only 20ft long, I would have guessed more like 21-22'.

You probably wouldn't have changed your van if you hadn't been 'FORCED' into it but you will love it to bits. My neighbor has a Burstner and it really is a lovely van.

I'd far rather read news like this than some of the more depressing threads on here, thanks Graham, all the best.......... Griff.:thumb:

By the way I don't mean pappajohns thread, that is dreadful news, hope they get the little angels and turn them into real angels.

Virtually same layout to my Burstner T660 - which we love. No more making up bed as per our caravan.

Hope you enjoy all your trips

First we actually have in the diary is Eden Camp but I'm sure we'll get away before then  MCS Northern (C&CC) have a couple of weekend meets before that.

I think you're right. I think that's a typo. 6400mm is 21 feet.

Great to read about a happy ending, hope you'll be really happy with the new van for many a long year.

Personally, I think we should all pay a levy towards buying Graham a new van every time we use his excellent guide to motorhome parking. It's one of the most useful bits of the web for us motorhomers.
