Before heading off to the meet at Marjal in March we are planning a short trip to Portugal, probably of two week duration.
From our home in Malaga we will visit Huelva and into Portugal from there and then onto Faro after which we will meander up the coast to Estoril/Lisbon, returning to Spain by way of Evora and Beja.
40+ years since we last visited Portugal and never by MH and any recommendations for camp sites, wild spots and must see places would be most welcome. Many thanks.

Regards, Bryan

Sounds like you will not get chance to see anything as you will be too busy moving from place to place.

We will be on the Algarve as of 30th Jan I can show you a couple of wild spots if you want?

Have no real time frame if it is a bit longer, no problem. Travelling with elderly friends but leaving them at Faro and moving on. Suggestions welcome, have All the Aires of Spain and Portugal as stand by as ACSI does not have much in the area.

Change of Plans !!

Change of plan !!
Retirement has made us lazy and forward planning to some extent irrelevant and unnecessary, now we do spontaneity and it is soooooo scary !!
Having had a moment to reconsider, the itinerary has changed. Once our friends are dropped off at Faro, the slow meander to Lisbon is out the window and we will push straight thru to Fatima and meander back from there via Lisbon/Estoril/Evora/Beja to Spain, have a clean up and prepare for departure to Marjal 8/9 March. All we need now is for our friends to decide on a departure date convenient to them.

Regards, Bryan

:ROFLMAO: Hi we went to Olhao just befor Faro there is free parking near the market very basic but free, lot's of other motorhome's parked there :ROFLMAO: :thumb:

Thanks for that. Basic is OK as we now got the hang of the few foibles the van has and are self sufficient for a couple of days at a time. Certainly want to try some of the Aires listed in the Vicarious publication, particularly around Fatima.
Anybody stopped at Santuario Fatima in the town or further along at Batalha ?
