Was given this for christmas and have only had a quick look at it .
Seems a lot more complex than my tomtom........but is it useful?

How do others use it .

It came with its own GPS dongle.........and is now loaded on my 15.5 laptop.

So any tips welcome

thanks barry

got 2010 which I think is great.. Yep, like most things that 'progress' it and the 2011 version are a little more complex but once you get your head round it I bet you will love it !

whilst a normal Gps moves the small section of map around you Autoroute moves you around the map, gives you a much wider view and great to see where you are if you go astray. Good route planner but the 2010 version will not reroute (other than you telling it to do so) if you take a wrong turning. much easier to see surrounding areas and add POI's. Very usefull in addition to a stand alone satnav.

I'm still on 2007.

Until Google Maps came on the scene it was the best route planner on the planet. Now Maps + Street View beats it but only when connected.

Think of it as TomTom on steroids.
