Does anyone else think, like me, that a quote of £700 is a bit excessive for fitting a towbart to my MH?

I used to fit them to cars/vans etc myself and it doesnt take that long?

like every thing that is to do with motor homes the prices are top wack
they think if you can afford to buy and run a motor home you can afford the rip off prices for all the accessories

shop around you get one fitted for a few hundred pounds :thumb:

i suppose it depends on if they have to fabricate chassis extensions or not as some vans dont have any chassis at the back especially some of the fibreglass bodied autosleepers and the like.

i had a towbar fitted to mine and it cost around £300 for the ball and bracket and around £150 for fitting including canbus bypass relays etc.

Subscribers  do not see these advertisements
