After my last disastrous motorhome purchase I've been either brave or foolish and bought another.

Been looking online for ages, both UK & in France and have bought one this morning in Hampshire.

It's a Bennimar Aero 600. Immaculate condition & low mileage and lots of extras, so feeling really, really happy!!!!!!

Magic Pauline, I hope it is left hand drive and lives up to your expectations. not sure where in hampshire it is but of course there is a ferry in Portsmouth. Do allow a couple of days to look around before going back home, suss out any problems/instructions etc. When you pick it up insist on seeing everything working, and yes I do mean everything even flushing the loo. If you can, video the instructions as you will be too excited to remember half of what you are told. Check out all systems Gas/water/electric and if the gas bottle is empty insist on a refill so you can try everything ensure you know where to turn the gas off. make sure you get the relevent manuals. Find out how to charge both engine and leisure batteries. Shop in the UK before you go back, baked beans, oxo, FB pies etc, hee hee. If you need help let me know in advance I am a portsmouth lad even though I live in Devon now. you are in for a fun time exciting, strange and maybe at times worrying, but well worth it. I am so pleased for you.

As I'm in the UK I get to go out & meet up with friends, and have lunch etc..... takes up so much time tho :ROFLMAO:

Last disaster: Bought m/home in France.
Paperwork not in order.
Gendarmes became involved :Eeek:
Motorhome examined by local garage.
looked like an older vehicle that had acquired identity of a newer one.
Got money back--Gendarmes and lawyer reckoned I wouldn't without a court case.
v nerve wracking.

Now feeling happier and more hopeful I'll get to experience m/home fun instead of m/home misery ::bigsmile:

Thanks everyone for all your good wishes, which are so much appreciated.
