Hi we are buying an auto sleepers cotswold but there seems to be a problem with the veneer above the sink which has bubbled.
Is this a common problem?
Has anyone else come across this?

suspect this may be above the cooker? We had this, it was caused by the steam from cooking presumably.

Its above the sink -- the camper has not been used yet -- so no kettle or cooking

not really a lot you can do about it Joy......

and as Jaygee says, it is caused by heat and steam.

unsightly, but as long as it isn't cracked it should be OK.
cracks will allow steam to get in and make it worse so the cracks will need sealing with varnish etc.

Whilst this might not be a cure for this problem a usefull tip if you ever get the veneer edges on doors lifting, a hot ironing with some brown or other paper over the veneer normally makes the strip glue back on.
