If going to Spain

Required by law in Spain

Reflective jackets for anybody who may vacate vehicle onto roadway

First Aid Kit

If used for driving...spare specs

Replacement light bulbs

Proof of current insurance

If cycle rack (loaded) exceeds 10% of vehicle length, square/striped warning board.

Probably other stuff which slips my mind right now.

in which case take plenty of cheap pens, ( they call them stylo ) pencils and paper for the Moroccan kids .. these are like gold dust to them.. give em one and your their friend for life.. and they won't throw stones at your van .. :roflmto: Also any old clothes, jeans etc ...

much better than throwing sweets out of the window, I've seen some daft vanners do this and the kids scrambling all over the road dodging traffic

Not that big a deal. Only glitch is the frontier post, after that as easy as Europe and so similar in many ways, like French shop names, supermarkets, booze.

I'd go back gladly, 'er indoors won't. Don't know why.

Don't see much of Ray in here any more, he must have enough business.

If you are lucky, fuel in Cueta will still be under half mainland price.

December 2010 fuel in Ceuta was .20cents cheaper than mainland Spain..... times have changed.

That was my impression leaving Morocco in 09, change. Probably not for the better, but the masses of satellite dishes ( on mud brick buildings ) and internet and the people have got to be saying "got to have some of that".

Go see the real Morocco ASAP.
