The replies here are going to fall into predictable camps.........I like my tomtom XXL europe.....about as much as Im going to like any of them.

A map helps as well.

Not with speed cameras unless you want to risk a big fine in France.

What do you want to speed on holiday for ?

And Germany :winky:

I came very close to buying a Snooper Ventura Pro S5000 last week because you can tell it that you're in a motorhome and the MH's size and weight, and free traffic for life, and the Bord Atlas, and Camperstop, and ..............

But then I read threads here and elsewhere :)Blush:) about how it doesn't show all the low bridges, narrow roads, beeps if you exceed 56mph because you're a truck, needs a wire across the windscreen for traffic etc., etc. So I decided to stick with my TomTom Via Live 125 for the time being. It will be 1yr old next April, so I'll have to pay and arm and a leg for Traffic (it's been quite useful and took us off the Autobahn in Austria to avoid congestion) and maybe a map update.
It thinks we're a car of course, so the ETA is always very optimistic.
I'm currently 'in conversation' with TomTom about the fact that when you first access Map Corrections it shows Car, Caravan, Campervan and large Van but all except the car are greyed out. So far they have recommended the Go 7000 series..........which is for busineses with trucks :ROFLMAO:

Not got cruise control so can be handy:winky:

I don't intend to fly anywhere but being warned you are in a differing speed zone can only improve safe driving?

Although a Garmin fan myself, I reckon you should stick with what you know and go for a large screen Tom Tom like the XXL Europe suggested by Beachcaster.
