problem could be finding someone with the necessary software for re-writing the chevy ECU.

you probably wont improve on MPG but will get more torque

A FEW extra miles per litre :Eeek:

you dont want much do you :roflmto:

even a few extra miles per GALLON is a pipe dream mate, and you'll be lucky to get an extra hundred mtrs per litre.

the expensive way to increse MPG is to run on LPG....

i get 8mpg on gas and 10mpg on petrol but gas is half the cost of petrol so i get 16mpg

Wow do three types of remap one which is biased towards economy, however they don't list Chevy. No harm in asking though.

I see a minor problem with this......

only the 'High power, ultimate performance' option is suitable for a petrol or diesel engine....which may add a few extra BHP to the 300+BHP you already have  but fuel will suffer.

the other two are for diesel only.

Theres a dead easy and FREE way of getting a few more mpg from a V8. Dont put your foot down as hard, simples :thumb::thumb:

Anything else and your just spending money on something other than petrol. A light right foot can and will save you money :winky:

AAARRRRRR yes but you see the thing is, I knew it would only do 8 mpg when you floor it before I bought it and I had to ask myself...am I bothered...the answer...I bought it anyway :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Having said that it does about 20mpg on the motorway towing a big trailer which is better mpg than my Citroen Relay van!!!

thank you for all your input on this thread

I drive an automatic so once it is rolling along at about 20mph i just tickle the auto cruse to chug it along,
i get 10mpg on LPG same on petrol but that is double the price

i suppose if i realy wanted more MPG i could remove the water tank fridge/freezer, bath room fittings along with kitchen fittings
heavy (but comfortable front seats) 4 X 120AH batteries air con
roof box 1x solar panel,
may do better MPG but not as comfy as is now
so i will leave well alone and enjoy all the comforts of home :thumb:
