Anyone know anything about the new windows phones.
My partner has shown an interest in a smart phone for Christmas, she doesn't want anything too complicated.

I have a Nokia E71 (symbian system) I liked it so much when my 2 year contract ran out I gave it to my wife and got another one. Over the years we have found that Nokia's just "work" (irrespective of how you hold em unlike the I phone)
Everything works perfectly, phone, internet, office, e mail and GPS.
They are also built like the proverbial brick ****house. :thumb:

That doesn't leave much scope then for the non-brave non-business no-fashion conscious sophisticated individual in the market for a smart phone. What do you recommend.:winky:

Unfortunately yes - one reason why I got an iPhone after 3 HTC windows phones. Now I have a phone that does everything I need for work and just works.

Was supplied with a Nokia E5 for work - tried it for two days and it went back in the bos where it remains today. Not even my daughter wanted it

It is very much personal preference but I certainly found what was needed.

Don't forget the proper qwerty keyboard. Even I can send texts now with a Nokia E63.
