Well, seven months after Rosie munched her gearbox ten minutes after getting off the ferry in Dunkirque, we finally have her back!
Eight weeks to get her repatriated and five months to track down a gearbox means that we missed a summers-worth of fun, so we have a bit of catching up to do.
After a recommendation from Welsh Winger, we talked to Mike Chubb at http://www.no1gear.com/ who specialises in ancient Fiats, Citroens, Peugeots and Talbots and he was able to sort us out. Have a look at his website when you need bits and pieces - his place is an Aladdin's Cave and he was really helpful.
Thanks to Welsh Winger and the others who responded to my plea for help on a previous thread.
The road now beckons again and its time to bring the blog up to date. Good job I've just started my semi-retirement!
