Hi my name is Mike, I am retired and my wife Chris and I are collecting our first Motorhome, an Autosleeper Symphony on Saturday (12/11) so it all starts from then! (We hope!) Hoping Motorhome fun is what it says 'on the tin'. :thumb: Cheers!

No problems with the 'Symph'? Petrol of diesel? I went for the petrol due to the London emission zone (Govt. rip off):Angry:

I was ignorant about the implications until a few months ago. Since then I have been campaigning and protesting about the LEZ but there isn't much support out there. Still haven't decided what I'm going to do - avoid London for the time being!

No problems mechanically, but some of the interior fitments need very careful handling! Plus just had to replace the offside rear door glass as it was stolen on Saturday night! Apparently these vans are very easy to steal - my first one was stolen, a 1995 model. I now have a 1998 one with Thatcham 1 alarm, immobiliser and deadlocks all of which I fitted. The weak point is the sliding door, and I put a deadlock on the back doors as well, so they didn't get into the van when they took the window.

So now they are removing it a bit at a time!!! Even the police were surprised!

If I can help with anything let me know. How old is yours and where exactly are you?
