After a reasent attack by some thieves I have decided to fit some dead locks the the van door, the type I want it the ones that can only be opened from the inside. I does anyone have any recomendations for the Fiat 2002 Ducato?

There is a company that markets a product called Heosafe. They fit the cab doors and are easy to fit.

Just ggogle Heosafe and you will find the details.

Fiamma are advertising a locking bracket for the habitation door that can be turned and locked from inside the van.

Haven't checked it out yet, but we are interested as the habitation door locks leave a lot to be desired.

I think any improvement in security has to be good..

But what can you do about the silly plastic windows and roof lights we all have.
1 minute with a crowbar and they are in .????

since 2011 but years in a caravan
We have a Fiat 2002 Ducato and one of the main attractions when buying it was the extra security there is an extra lock on the habitation door and extra key operated locks on the drivers and passengers doors.
And to answer the question about the flimsy plastic windows you cant beat the strikeback system with extra sirens they are enough to deafen you.
I will take some pictures when I have a minute of the deadlocks
