Well, some may know I am on a months holiday in France, so when I saw a special Ocado offer on Becks beer before I left I bought cases of it, it is so hot here I have been ploughing through it at a rate of knots but never been drunk, I just thought I had become a man and could now take my drink, no,no,no, I have just put my glasses on and realised I bought 10 cases of Becks Blue non alcohol beer :Eeek:

What an utter plonker, anyway, I have got used to it now ::bigsmile: no wonder my posts have been so polite and helpful :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: anyway, off to the Casino supermarket now to rectify the problem :thumb:

Friend of mine bought some beer to a BBQ at my place I put it straight in the fridge and he proceeded to drink all my San Miguel. Couple of days later I thought I'd have a beer with lunch, it was a Becks Blue:Eeek: Bloody disgraceful, So glad i spotted it; what if I had actually drunk that stuff!! Doesn't bear thinking about!

I've tried a few non-alcoholic beers over the years but most have been lager types and I'm not keen on lager of any description.

The best I've had was a case of 24 cans I bought from Stockton market a few years ago which was dated stock but still very drinkable - much like a traditional Best Mild in taste. It was a Worthington brand with Shield in the name but I can't remember the colour (obviously not White Shield as that is 5.6%). I've never seen it before or since so guess that it must have been some sort of experiment which didn't work out for the brewery. Pity.

I hope there is nothing wrong with it as I have drunk gallons :Eeek:

I must say it fooled me, looks like the real thing and even tastes like it when chilled. I only happened to be typing a post on here with a bottle next to me and when I went to have a swig read the label, I couldn't believe it, I would rather have not known, I feel a little foolish now, I will keep the rest to bring to a forum meet :ROFLMAO:
