Swivel seats

:thumb:Good evening all, we are an elderly couple who are starting to relive our youth hahaha. We are taking possesion of a Fiat Timberland motorhome in a couple of weeks. Our problem is...How do you operate the swivel action on the front seats? Having never had a motorhome before, only caravans, and old ones too, I havent a clue how to work the seats!!

Thankyou in anticipation of any repliues.

Trouble is they are'nt all the same, however there will be some sort of lever or catch you pull up or push down to release the seat and then you just heave it round (they can be quite heavy. When you turn it back to forward facing the catch will lock it in that position. Some have to be slid back or forward to clear various bits of furniture etc.

Hi Bernice,

Affraid I can't help you on this although it should be fairly simple....if you are buying from a dealer they should go through the van with you to explain all its workings!

If it's a private seller they should be able advise you also.

You would also probably get more replies on this matter if you repost it as a specific new post & not tacked onto another post.

Hope you enjoy your new toy and refind your youth:Cool:
