I have a Nuvi rather than a Quest and I'm pretty sure all the software was on the device rather than there being a CD/DVD with it (can't find one anyway).

To obtain Mapsource I signed on to my Garmin account and downloaded it from their web site.

I have a Nuvi too (pile of poo), but the mapping is different. I need to get some French blocks on there instead of the UK ones, and the disks I have won't allow me to do this. I know the Quest is ancient, but it is very useful because it works across all vehicles, bikes, m/bikes etc, and fits neatly into a pocket. The Quest mapping is failry unique, hence my re-quest............. see what I did there?
